For the second straight month Fredette Jimmer (188-PG-89, college: BYU) has been chosen by asia-basket.com as the Asian MVP for December. American guard played 11 games last month averaging unbeliveable 39.6ppg, 10.1rpg and 4.3apg while shooting 58.1% from the field (39.7% from 3PT line). His team Shanghai Sharks won 10 games and are still on the top of CBA standings with 21-3 record.
Fredette, in his first year on the Sharks, leads the CBA in scoring with 38.8 points per game.

Second best performer of December was Adams Darius (188-PG-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Stealth Sport) of Xinjiang Flying Tigers. the product of the University of Indianapolis had an outstanding month and finished it with the averages of 36.3ppg, 6.1rpg, 5.5apg while shooting 62.5% from the field. On Dec.18 Adams posted 52-point game in a win over TianJin.

Third best performer of the month was Alade Aminu (210-F/C-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) of Al Riyadi. In 5 Lebanee lleague games he averaged 16.8 ppg, 10.8 rpg, 3.2 apg, 1.6 bpg. His team recorded 4-1 record.

There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with loss of the undefeated team and favorites losing the games. The most surprising game was the first loss ofHomenetmen (5-1) in Beirut on Tuesday night. Hosts were edged by ninth ranked Louaize (1-5) 92-91. Defending champion CEZ Basketball Nymburk (NBL) agreed terms with 27-year old American forward Calvin Godfrey (206-109kg-90, college: Memphis). He already started the season at Moutahed in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. Quite impressive season as he League Player of the Week. Godfrey also played earlier that season for Al-Riffa (Premier League) in Bahrain where in two Pepsi LBL games he had very remarkable stats: 20.0ppg, 13.0rpg, 1.5apg, 1.5spg and 3.5bpg this season.
