Homentmen Antelias (Division I) confirmed in their roster 27-year old ex-international power forward Layla Fares (89). She has played there for the last three seasons. Fares has played there for the last three years. She helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place.
Fares also represented Lebanon at the Pan Arab Games in Doha (Qatar) five years ago

Homenetmen are the 2016 Lebanese women basketball champions , after defeating Riyadi 61-54 in game 4 of the final series! The game was being played in Mezher and the score was close almost the whole time, until Homenetmen made a small break towards the end which they managed to defend and win! The series was amazing between both teams, who proved that the championship deserves to be broadcasted throughout the whole season and not just one game in the final! Homenetmen defeat Riyadi to lead the series in 2-1 - 2 months ago

It seems that the two teams who are playing the finals of the women Lebanese basketball League are losing in their homeport and winning as guest in their opponent's court.Homenetmen Women basketball team was able to defeat Riyadi in Manara in a game that ended in an overtime with 55-55.
