Travis McKie
Al Moutahed Tripoli (Pepsi LBL) added to their roster 25-year old American small forward Travis McKie (201-100kg-92, college: Wake Forest, agency: Diamond Sports) from Louaize. In 25 Pepsi LBL games in Lebanon he recorded very impressive stats: 17.8ppg, 7.4rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg last season.
The most of previous (2015-16) season McKie spent at Enosi Kalathosfairisis Kavalas in Greek A1 where in 13 games he averaged 8.4ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.3apg. He also played that season for T71 Dudelange (Total League) in Luxembourg. In two games he had also remarkable stats: 24.0ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.0apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others McKie was voted All-ACC Honorable Mention back in 2012 and 2013 at his college time.
McKie has played previously professionally in Belgium (Basic Fit Brussels) and NBA G League (Austin Spurs and Canton Charge).
He attended Wake Forest University until 2014 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.
On McKie: Long, athletic wing who can finish in transition ... Terrific rebounder on both the offensive and defensive end ... Above-average range on his jump shot ... Able to knock down shots from beyond the arc ... Vocal team leader.

Pepsi LBL Round 15: Champville loses to Al Moutahed - 3 days ago
The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. The game between third ranked Champville (11-4) and sixth ranked Al Moutahed (8-7) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Champville was defeated by Al Moutahed in a tough game in Tripoli 73-78. It was a good game for American guard Demarius B...   [read more]
