Jarrid Famous (ex Isabela) agreed terms with GECR Indalo - Aug 3, 2017

Gimnasia-Indalo Esgr.Comodoro Rivadavia (LigaA) inked 29-year old Lebanese ex-international power forward Jarrid Famous (209-109kg-88, college: S.Florida). He has a double citizenship as he also holds American passport. Famous played in the summer at Gallitos de Isabela in Puerto Rican BSN league. In 26 games he recorded 13.3ppg, 9.1rpg and 1.0apg. Famous ended the last season at Al Naser (D1) in UAE league. But the most of that year he spent at Maccabi Haifa (Winner League) in Israel where in 6 games he averaged 4.8ppg and 4.7rpg.
In 2011 Iowa Energy selected him as third overall pick in D-League draft.
He attended University of South Florida and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
Famous has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Among other achievements he received Asia-Basket.com Lebanese League All-Domestic Players Team award back in 2014. Famous was a member of Lebanese Senior National Team back in 2012.
He is a very experienced player. Famous has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to nine different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Famous has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al Muharraq), China (Jiangsu Dragons and Sturgeons), Dominican Rep., Philippines (Globalport), Taiwan (Yulon Luxgen), Venezuela (Bucaneros), NBA (Dallas Mavericks), Lebanon (Sagesse) and NBA G League (Texas Legends).

Byblos Sporting Club (Pepsi LBL) landed 32-year old American guard Marcus Hall (185-86kg-85, college: Colorado, agency: KMG Sports Management). He played most recently at Bucaneros in Venezuelan LPB league, but left the team in March'17. But in only one game he did not score anything and had only 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block. Al Moutahed Tripoli (Pepsi LBL) added to their roster 32-year old American forward Lorrenzo Wade (201-103kg-85, college: San Diego State, agency: Interperformances). He played last summer at Brujos de Guayama in Puerto Rican BSN league. Wade managed to play in five leagues in five countries last year (!!!).
