In the absence of Julien Khazzouh , Elie Estephan and Philipp Tabet Sagesse played the semi final of the Dubai International Tournament against Smart Gilas, due to the injures coach Fouad Abou Chakra had a small rotation but he managed to bring the best from his players.
Sagesse had a rocket start with a 10-0 run which obliged Smart Gilas coach to take a quick time out , the Pilipino team scored its first points in the game after 4 minutes of action , the big supremacy continued and the quarter finished at the score of 28-12. The 2nd quarter saw the same tempo and Sagesse never looked back this situation gave the chance to Coach Abou Chakra to rest its key players , the score at the half was 48-30.
The 3rd quarter saw a big comeback from Smart Gilas through many successful 3pointers and decreased the difference to 11 points ,this situation obliged Sagesse to regroup and to retake the control of the game through its trio Deshawn Sims, Aaron Harper and Chudney Gray who made Sagesse finish the 3rd quarter leading 68-51. In the 4thquarter Sagesse had a big show and cruised into a big win in the end on the score of 95-65.
Aaron Harper led Sagesse with 27 points, as for Deshawn Sims he had 20 and Chudney Gray 14.

Sagesse will play the semi against Riyadi Aramex from Jordan as for Riyadi Beirut they will meet the home team al Ahly from UAE. The two semis are excepted to be very explosive ones.

Champville adds Cummings to their roster !! - 5 hours ago
Champville (Pepsi LBL) added to their roster 29-year old American small forward Markeith Cummings (198-109kg-88, college: Kennesaw State). He just played at Sioux Falls Skyforce (D-League) in the U.S. In 6 games he had only 2.8ppg and 1.2rpg this season. Cummings also played earlier that season for Al Ahly (Superleague) in Egypt. In 2013 he was drafted by Bakersfield Jam (D-League) in third round (44th overall). Cummings attended Kennesaw State and it is his fourth season in pro basketbal...   [read more]

Dubai International Tournament: AS Sale Stun Riyadi To Claim Gold - 1 day ago
After a wonderful performance in the semis for both Riyadi and AS Sala, the final matchup never looked better. Riyadi started the game a bit shaky, turning the ball over easily. Overconfidence might have played a role in this bad start. Sala were very focused and always found the open man to lead 11-3 after 4 minutes. Riyadi soon found their touch with Alade Aminu (210-F/C-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) and Haidar pairing up on couple of occasions. Yet they were stil...   [read more]

Dubai International Tournament: Heroic Sagesse Comeback Not Enough As Riyadi Reach Final - 1 day ago
Riyadi took on Sagesse in the first semi-final of Dubai International Tournament as both have the final in sight. Sagesse started the game off well. Defensively they were switching on the picks, double teaming Alade Aminu (210-F/C-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) under the basket, closing up spaces very well and running quickly on the fast break. Terrell Stoglin (185-G-91, college: Maryland) was the man, as he often is, blowing past Brown on many occasions. 10 points f...   [read more]
