The city of Byblos welcomed another type of derby , Byblos to Amchit , both teams are aiming to have a successful season , in the previous round Byblos came from Zahle with a precious win against Anibal as for Amchit they welcomed Bejjeh and scored a very big win.
The game was very exciting one and both teams were trying to impose their game , all quarters scoreswere very close and no team managed to have a clear supremacy, Byblos through Mazen Mneimenh who had a season best with 32 points managed to put the pressure on the guest team , Andre Emmett responded to the pressure and scored from everywhere , he had the best performance of the season with 52 points. The first half saw both teams exchanging the lead with a small supremacy for Amchit who finished the half leading 36-38. The 3rd quarter saw Byblos regaining a momentum trough the trio Mazen Mneimneh, Mike Fraser and Jasom Youngblood , this momentum gave the home team the lead at the of the 3rd on the score of 62-61. The 4th quarter saw Amchit and especially Emmett taking control of the game after the foul problem received by Mike Fraser , he led his team by scoring from everywhere and securing a great win on the score of 94-98.
Andre Emmett led all scorers a great performance of 52 points , he received a help from Ghaleb Reda who finished with 12 points and Matt Freije with 11. As for Byblos Mazen Mneimneh led his team with 32 points , Mike Fraser with 18 points , Jasmon Youngblood with 15.

JEREMY PARGO Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv (Winner League) inked 32-year old American point guard Jeremy Pargo (188-99kg-86, college: Gonzaga). It is actually his comeback to Tel-Aviv as he has played here before. Pargo played recently at played at Champville in Lebanese LBL league. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries this year (!!!). In 5 LBL games he averaged impressive 15.8ppg, 3.4rpg, 7.0apg and 1.4spg. Sagesse - Homenetmen 69-89 Homenetmen fired past Sagesse to take 2-0 lead in the series. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-69. Homenetmen forced 19 Sagesse turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Sagesse's players. Al Riyadi - Beirut Club 84-67 Riyadi knocked down Beirut Club in the semifinal opener. It looked good early as Beirut Club took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Al Riyadi had a 23-16 second period charge getting the lead and Beirut Club was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 67-84.
