After a forced stop for the League due to problem created between the newly elected Lebanese Basketball Federation and Five first division teams Riyadi,Amchit,Moutahed,Byblos and Hoops a meeting was held in the LBF Headquarters with a purpose to solve the problem.

The five teams are asking to establish a league like the ones in France (LNB) , Spain (ACB) , This request is facing a big opposition from the LBF due that the LBF internal regulations dont mention the possibility of creating such a league.

The League is stopped now since November 24th and all the Lebanese Basketball Fans are hoping to find a way to make all parties accept a new format of a committee to run the League. The meeting had some positive signs after 3 hours of big discussions but the coming days will reveal the outcome of the Lebanese League.
