Anibal Zahle, currently 0-4 in the standings agreed to terms with 27-year old forward Alexander McLean (203-F-85). McLean, who is no stranger to Lebanon after having played for Antranik Beirut in 2009-10, made his 2012-13 season debut this past weekend during 72-119 loss to Al Riyadi. In 40 minutes of action the 6-8 McLean from Bayshore, New York scored 16 points to go along with 10 rebounds and 4 assists. A former teammate of Hoops Club guard Larry Blair at Liberty, McLean played last season in China's NBL (summer league), appearing in nine games while averaging 22.4ppg, 14.6rpg, 1.3apg, 1.6spg, FGP: 54.8%, 3PT: 40.0%, FT: 72.2%. In his fifth professional season McLean has experience playing professionally in Poland, Paraguay, Argentina, Iraq, Qatar and China in addition to Lebanon.

Sagesse keeps Ghattas for another season - 2 days ago

Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (Pepsi LBL) re-signed experienced 34-year old guard Joe Ghattas (185-82). He has played there for the last two seasons. But in 23 Pepsi LBL games he averaged just 1.2ppg and 1.2apg last season. Ghattas helped them to make it to both league and Cup finals. He won Dubai International Tournament championship title. Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (Pepsi LBL) confirmed in their roster 21-year old guard George Yves Daaboul (178-95). He played there last season. In 5 Pepsi LBL games he had 4.2ppg, 1.2rpg and 1.0apg. Daaboul won Dubai International Tournament championship title and made it to the cup final. He represented Lebanon at the Asian Championship U16 in Nha Trang City (Vietnam) five years ago. Ketenjian re-signs at Homenetmen - 3 days ago

Homenetmen Beirut (Pepsi LBL) confirmed in their roster 25-year old point guard Sevag Ketenjian (178-91). He has played there for the last three seasons. In 33 Pepsi LBL games he had 3.6ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.4apg and 1.1spg last season. Ketenjian helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league.
