Asenso Ampim
The second round of the Lebanese League saw a big confrontation between Antranik and Bejjeh in Demirdjian Center. These two teams together with Anibal and Hoops will battle to determine which two teams will enter the final 8. Bejjeh had a good start and led 14-8 after five minutes. Antranik Took over from this minute and started to impose their game and to lead the game minute after minute through the great performance of Asenso Ampim he finished the game with 29 points , 14 rebounds and 4 blockshots . Antranik build a comfortable lead at the half 44-32. The 3rd quarter saw Bejjeh making a big run reducing the difference to one point but Antranik regrouped and regain the momentum to finish the 3rd quarter on the score of 63-59. The start of the 4th quarter saw Antranik continuing where they stopped and increased the lead to ten points but Bejjeh started a big comeback which brought them within one point but Novar Gadson nailed a very important three pointer which brought back the momentum to Antraniks side and secured a very important win in the battle of the last four teams this season, the game finished at the score of 90-83.Novar Gadson finished with 23points ,8 assists , Joey Zaloum with 19 points , 7 assists , on the other side Bejjeh was led by Corey Williams with 26 points and Harold Jamison with 17points , 20 rebounds.

Homenetmen Beirut (Pepsi LBL) landed 29-year old South Sudanese center Ater Majok (208-106kg-87, college: Connecticut). He moved there from Beijing Dongfang in Chinese NBL league where he started the season. In 25 games he averaged impressive 26.9ppg, 17.2rpg (#2 in the league), 2.4apg and 3.9bpg last season. Hoops Club (Pepsi LBL) tabbed 29-year old American forward Mack Lamont (201-104kg-87, college: Charlotte). He played most recently at Karpos Sokoli in FYR Macedonia Prva Liga, but was released by the team in Oct.'16. In three Prva Liga games he averaged 6.3ppg and 2.0rpg this season. Clay Tucker officially signed with Byblos - 3 days ago

Byblos Club officially signed with Clay Tucker(196-G-80, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) coming from Konyaspor Turkey. Clay Tucker used to be the best scorer in Italian League season 2007-2008 ,with an average of 21 points and 5.4 rebounds. In 2010-2011, Tucker played with Real Madrid, he averaged in Euroleague 9 points and 2 rebounds in every game. In turkey he had an average of 19 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
