A very important win for Antranik in the Lebanese League - Nov 9, 2012

The second round of the Lebanese League saw a big confrontation between Antranik and Bejjeh in Demirdjian Center. These two teams together with Anibal and Hoops will battle to determine which two teams will enter the final 8. Bejjeh had a good start and led 14-8 after five minutes. Antranik Took over from this minute and started to impose their game and to lead the game minute after minute through the great performance of Asenso Ampim he finished the game with 29 points , 14 rebounds and 4 blockshots . Antranik build a comfortable lead at the half 44-32. The 3rd quarter saw Bejjeh making a big run reducing the difference to one point but Antranik regrouped and regain the momentum to finish the 3rd quarter on the score of 63-59. The start of the 4th quarter saw Antranik continuing where they stopped and increased the lead to ten points but Bejjeh started a big comeback which brought them within one point but Novar Gadson nailed a very important three pointer which brought back the momentum to Antraniks side and secured a very important win in the battle of the last four teams this season, the game finished at the score of 90-83.Novar Gadson finished with 23points ,8 assists , Joey Zaloum with 19 points , 7 assists , on the other side Bejjeh was led by Corey Williams with 26 points and Harold Jamison with 17points , 20 rebounds.

The most shocking disappointment of round 10 in the Pepsi LBL was a home defeat of 7th ranked Mayrouba (3-7) to eighth ranked Sagesse (4-6) 81-76 in the game for the seventh place. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Mayrouba won third quarter 24-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 182-PG-94) filling in for Rodrigue Akl(187-PG-88), the Lebanese Basketball National Team is all set to conquer WABA 2017. From January 29th and until February 2nd, six national teams will compete for gold in Jordan at Club Fuheis. Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Syria and Iran.
