Riyadi - Byblos: 91-73

In the 2nd round of the Lebanese League 2012-2013 season Riyadi had to confront a strong opponent Byblos who in the previous round had a big win against Moutahed , as for Riyadi they had a big win in Jounieh against Bejjeh.
Riyadi missed three key players for this game , Ismail Ahmad , Ali Kanaan and Joe Vogel but the team was very focused to not allow Byblos to have a good game. This concentration soon had a big effect on the court and Riyadi controlled the game from the first minutes , Ahmad Ibrahim had ahuge game with 31 points , Loren Woods with 19 points ( 82% field goals) and the Team had 10 threepointers , on the other side Byblos had Mazen Mneihmneh as their best scorer 16 points and Followed by Mike Fraser with 12 points and 22 rebounds.
Riyadi sent a strong message to all teams in this game , the game finished at the score of 91-73.

Hoops - Anibal : 77-70
In another game from the 2nd round, Hoops and Anibal met in Murr Stadium, Both teams suffered defeats in the season opening. The game turned to be very exciting one , Anibal welcomed a new post player Dane Johnson . The game saw the two teams exchanging the lead many time , Larry Baird had a big game with 33 points , this performance helped Hoops to score their first win of the season despite the big game played by Chudney gray ( 21pts) and Joey Accaoui ( 25pts) . Hoops won the game on the score of 77-70.

Al Riyadi - Sagesse 77-89 Sagesse fired past Al Riyadi to jump ahead in the championship series. Sagesse looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Demarius Bolds (193-84, college: Missouri Western) stepped up and scored 25 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Nigerian-American power forward Ekenechukwu Ibekwe (206-85, college: Maryland) chipped in 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Geron Johnson to join Lebanon for WABA Championship - May 24, 2016

Geron Johnson(190-G-92, college: Memphis) will strengthen the roster of Lebanon National Team for the upcoming WABA Championship. Geron Johnson played in the Lebanese League this season. He tallied 22.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game in Louaize. Later the guard moved to Obregon in Mexico. Geron Johnson averages 20.6 points, 7.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game in CIBACOPA.   [read more]

Sagesse back to the FINALS - May 23, 2016

Sagesse is back to the Finals after the 2013-2014 against Riyadi. This season also Lebanese fans will also enjoy the derby in the Finals , Riyadi will face Sagesse in the Finals in a best of seven format. Sagesse managed to win first ever game 7 in the history of the LBL . Tripoli hosted the much waited game in Safadi center .
