Riyadi to Face Mahram in the Asian Final for the 2nd consecutive year - Oct 20, 2012

The Final of the 23rd FIBA ASIA Champions Cup will join for the 2nd consecutive year Riyadi Beirut to Mahram , both teams qualified for the Final after winning the semifinal games , Riyadi cruised into a big against Belent Asgabat on the score of 116-65, On the other side Mahram had a very difficult game vs Duhok ,The first Half was a very though one for Mahram who trailed throughout the first two quarters but managed at the end of the 2nd quarter to come back in the game and to have the lead on the score of 45 -38. Since that moment Mahram never looked back but the Iraqi team came back in the game with 3 minutes left in the game by hitting a couple of three pointers and coming within 4 points from Mahram but the big experience of the Iranian team secured the precious win on the score of 93-76.

Riyadi and Mahram will meet on Monday October 22nd 2012 at 21:30 , as for the 3rd and 4th positioning game will be held on Sunday October 21st at 10:30 in the morning .

Al Riyadi - Sagesse 77-89 Sagesse fired past Al Riyadi to jump ahead in the championship series. Sagesse looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Geron Johnson(190-G-92, college: Memphis) will strengthen the roster of Lebanon National Team for the upcoming WABA Championship. Geron Johnson played in the Lebanese League this season. He tallied 22.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game in Louaize. Later the guard moved to Obregon in Mexico.
