WABA teams Lebanon and Syria entered Mondays locked at identical 1-1 record making the result of the game very critical to eithers chances for a place in the quarterfinals.

Lebanon looked better organized in their defense and more cohesive in their offense, but Syria breathed hard on their necks throughout the game.

Wael Arakji (192-G-94) had another field day in shooting 11/19 for his 33 points to lead Lebanons win along with 9 rebounds. Jimmy Salem and Hanna Nemer each had 11 points.

Mahmoud Trabs 23 points paced Syria. Mohamad Shahin and Mohamad Hashem each pulled down 9 rebounds the former also scoring a dozen points.
