Today, Samuel Hoskin (206-F/C-79, agency: Higher Vision Sports, college: De Paul) (Higher Vision Sports) 6'9" power-forward, signed a deal with the Chinese Basketball Association's Jilin Northeast Tigers. Before last season, Hoskin was nationalized as a Lebanese and played in the Asian World Championships with the Lebanese National Team. There, Hoskin averaged 16.3 points per game and 10.1 rebounds and the team enjoyed their best record in years. After that, Hoskin signed a deal with Lebanese outfit Champville Basketball Club and helped them win their first Lebanese Championship in their history. In the final game of the championship, Samuel Hoskin led his team to a championship victory that had former NBA player Marcus Haislip as his teammate on it with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Hoskin averaged 20.8 points per game and 10.8 rebounds and was the power-forward of the year in the Lebanese league last season.

On the other side of the pool, Sagesse who finished the regular season as second, will face mouttahed ( third ) in a battle that is expected to be a thrilling war zone. Thursday the 23rd will show this series' debut. Sagesse is coming from a somehow easy series against hoops, and a withdrawal from Waba due to unknown reasons, while mouttahed just finished last night it's playoffs series against the power horse Byblos.
In the fourth game of the best-of-five first-round playoffs series of the Lebanese League that took place yesterday at Jbeil, Byblos clinched the win (96-92) against Al Moutahed Tripoli, to force a decisive game 5 tomorrow in Tripoli at 16:00.

Al Moutahed Tripoli players started the game focused and they were able to put Byblos star player Jasmon Youngblood (195-G-84, college: Kent St.) in an early foul trouble in the first three minutes of the first quarter. But in the third quarter, Joe Moujaes men made the Break after an exceptionnal performance from Youngblood that lead them by 17 points going into the fourth quarter. In the last quarter, Al Moutahed Tripoli tried to make a comeback as Bachir Ammouri (197-F/C-83) scored a couple of three pointers but they failed to equalize the score. Jasmon Youngblood was the best from Byblos side with 31points,5rebounds and 4 assists and Michael Fraser (203-C/F-84, agency: Hart Sports Mngm, college: Oklah.Baptist) had a double double 25points and 12rebounds. While from Al Moutahed Tripoli side, Eric Chatfield (191-G-79, agency: Fusion Sports, college: N.Mexico) finished with 20points and 5assists, Bassel Bawji (203-F/C-89, college: Tulsa) with 19points, Bachir Ammouri with 18points and Marc Salyers (205-F-79, college: Samford) with 16points.
