Mashayekhi
Iranian U18 superstar Sajjad Mashayekhi (170-PG-94) talked to Eurobasket.com right after the big win against Lebanon in the final day of U18 WABA Championship:
- We knew coming to Lebanon and facing the Lebanese Team won't be an easy task therefore we had to be fully concentrated on this match.
- The two weeks preparation we had was not enough but we had a winning spirit, we wanted this so bad and we proved we are a great team that can do some damage.
- I am impressed with what we did and we are so happy about this win and we wish to continue the winning streak in Mongolia during the Asian Championships because we know we are able to do it with the proper preparation.
- I am playing for Mahram and I want to represent the first national team and be at the highest level in Iran before succeeding my dream in playing as professional in Europe.

Nonetheless, Ali Haidar was ready to ball. He blocked Sagesse's player on 4 different occasions limiting their mov...   [read more]
Riyadi Breeze Past The Egyptian National Team in their Opening Game - 3 days ago
19 after the first 10 minutes. In the second quarter, the Egyptian national team pounded the Lebanese basket down low as their frontcourt scored bucket after bucket. Yet Alade Aminu (210-F/C-87, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Three Eye Sports) and Amir Saoud kept their team in contention with great hustle and resilience. Th...   [read more]
