It was an excepted win for Lithuania who stands up on the top of group D,Lebanon said good bye for Fiba world championship 2010.
First half was close,with a small Lithuanian lead,they finished the first quarter tied (16-16) and the second with a seven points lead (39-32)

Fourth quarter started with same scenario,and Lithuania has gotten the win over Lebanon by 18 points (66-84)
Best scorer from Lithuania was Renaldas Seibutis (196-G-85) with 17 points, as for Lebanon, Rony fahed was the best with 19 points.

Lithuania posted the fifth straight win at the World Championship in Turkey. They knocked down Lebanon to win preliminary round Group D. Lebanon finished the tournament with one win in five games played.

Lithuania posted the fifth straight win at the World Championship in Turkey. They knocked down Lebanon to win preliminary round Group D. Lebanon finished the tournament with one win in five games played. Lithuania opened the game with four points in a row to jump in front. They maintained the lead for some time before Ali Fakhreddine (204-C-83) notched four points to level things up at 16 at the first break. Abdelnour put Lebanon in charge early in the second quarter. Martynas Gecevicius (193-G-88) drained a triple triggering a 6:0 run from the Baltic team as they retained the lead. Renaldas Seibutis (196-G-85) and Martynas Gecevicius capped the half with four points in a row as Lithuania accumulated a 39:32 advantage. Lithuania used a 10:0 run early in the third term to clear off to an 11-point distance. Ali Fakhreddine refused to give up as four points from him made it a 5-point game. Lithuania scored next four points to restore a safe cushion and they rallied to a 64:51 advantage before the final term. Lebanon opened the fourth period with four points in a row but a 6:0 spurt from the Lithuanian team followed and it killed any hopes for the Asian team. Renaldas Seibutis came up with 17 points to lead Lithuania. Martynas Gecevicius added 16 points, while Tomas Delininkaitis (192-G-82, agency: Interperformances) finished with 11 points in the victory. Rony Fahed (186-G-81, agency: Pro Management Agency) replied with 19 points for Lebanon. Jackson Vroman (208-C/F-81, college: Iowa St.) accounted for 15 points in the loss.

Lithuania had a breakthrough in the 3rd quarter, taking advantage of the offensive rebounds to finish this period 64-51. The last stanza maintained the same rythm, the Lithuanians kept their momentum and increased the gap to finish the game with an 18 points margin 84-66.
After the game, Lebanon coach Tab Baldwin said : we are satisfied with the results that we achieved in this tournament, taking into consideration the short period of preparation that we had back home
