Philippines U18 opened their SEABA Championship campaign with a comfortable win. The defending champions routed Laos for 1-0 record. Mario Bonleon came up with 24 points to lead the winners.
Philippines got to a flying start. They knocked down 34 points in the opening quarter to build a 24-point lead. Kyles Laos managed just two points in the second quarter to face a massive 52-point halftime deficit. Philippines stayed in charge from then on breezing to the victory at the end. Rey Nambatac scored 17 points for the winners. Ronnie Leon and Kyles Lao added 16 points each for Philippines. Aphakone Phommasone (175-G-96) answered with 10 points for Kyles Laos. Phimmasone Phannolath had 8 points in the loss.

2015 SEABA Championship: Malaysia beat Laos to claim second position - 2 Years ago
Malaysia - Laos 85:53 Malaysia finished second at the 2015 SEABA Championship. They rolled past Laos for the fourth win at the tournament. Indonesia - Laos 83:46 Indonesia opened win count at the 2015 SEABA Championship. They beat Laos for 1-3 record. Yanuar Dwi Priasmoro (178-SG-89) and Juan Kokodiputra (194-C/F-95) scored 19 points each to pace the winners. Indonesia set the tone early.
