The favorites reached semifinals in Kyrgyzstan. Guiness-29, Tulpar-SKIF, Alga and Politekhnik did not leave any chances for their opponents. Guiness-29 overcame Tulpar-SKIF 2 77-36 while Tulpar-SKIF edged Issyk-Kul 74-58. Alga smashed KTU Manas 102-41 with a massive 22-4 surge in the last quarter. Politekhnik rolled over Moy Telefon 73-53.

Tulpar SKIF, Politechnik and Guiness-29 win 2017/18 openers in Kyrgyzstan. Tulpar overcame BC "Moi telefon 83-62 as Nurtay Subanbekov netted 21 points, while Andrey Kislitsin (201-F-90) notched 14. Adiev replied with 27 points in the losing effort. Politechnik posted a 91-54 win over Grizzly. Adilbek Uulu stepped up with 18 points and Atabekov nailed 16. Guiness-29 wins 2016/2017 title in Kyrgyzstan. In the decisive third game they overcame Alga 71-66 to win the series 2-1. In a packed and loud sport complex the spectators enjoyed the entire game.
