Kyrgyzstan wins Nooruz Cup 2017 at the home court. In the Final game the National Team overcame Azerbaijan U20 75-67. Trailing 7 points at the end of the first period, Kyrgyzstan managed to reply with an 18-13 run in the second frame and massive 23-10 surge in the third.
In the game for the third place Kyrgyzstan-2 beat Guiness-29 69-53. The latter led 2 points after 10 minutes, but could not keep the pace in the rest of the game.

Guiness-29 improved to a 6-0 record as they beat KTU 'Manas' 105-55 in the last game. The favorites dominated the whole game and won all the quarters of the game. Shakirzhan Kuranbaev(G) top-scored for the winners with 26 points and Esenaliev posted 25. Trulev replied with 20 points in the losing effort. SC 'Politechnik' and BC "My phone' share the second place with 4-2 records. BC "My phone' beat BK "Tulpar SKIF' 67-62, while SC 'Politechnik' outscored BC 'Grizzly' 97-71.   [read more]

BC Moi telefon handed Politechnik their first loss in the League. They posted an 85-80 win with a decisive 27-17 surge in the last period. Zhanish Adiev stepped up with 38 points and 12 rebounds, while Dmitriy Svarin posted 25. Roman Gostishev replied with 21 points in a loss, whilst Adilbek and Polyanskiy netted 18 each. Politechnik and Guiness-29 keep the perfect record in Kyrgyzstan. Politechnik overcame Tulpar 71-69 in the top game of the second round as they needed a final 22-11 surge to seal the victory. Mikhail Danshin (95) stepped up with 19 points, while Gostishev posted 17. Nurtay Subanbekov replied with 31 points in the losing effort. Guiness-29 meanwhile posted an 87-56 win over Grizzly.
