Kyrgyzstan did not make it to top 10 at the Asian Championships for Juniors. They had very bad start losing all three games (Iran, Taiwan and Japan) in their elimination group. In the next stage they performed a little better beating Philippines and Quatar, while losing to Saudi Arabia. In the 11th place game they defeated Kuwait 100-89. The top player in Kyrgyzstan team was Nail Gafarov.
