CSKA Almaty Alma-Ata won the International tournament held in Kyrgyzstan. The latter enjoyed the tournament of three teams from December 18-20. The National team of the country, local Forward and CSKA Almaty Alma-Ata. The team from Kazakhstan overcame Forward 100:60 in the opener and triumphed with 102:92 in the tournament. Anton Kotenko (191-G/F-84) and Ruslav Giliazutdinov (208-C-84) were the top players for the winning side.

Bishkek farewell to Novruz Cup 2012. Azerbaijan celebrated the victory in the annual Novruz Cup tournament in Bishkek. The victory marked the third success for Azerbaijan National Team at the tournament. The Elhan Aliyev team claimed five wins in as many games to celebrate the title.

Moreover the favorites won the third and the last stanzas in the game. Tahir Bakhshiyev paced all the winners with 24 points and Amil Hamzayev netted 19. Kuranbaev responded with 36 points in the losing case. The home side finished with 1 victory and 4 losses. Kuranbaev and Kanat Ibrayev (G/F) however became the top-scorers of the tournament. They notched 154 and 108 points respectively.
