D1 Round 12: No surprise as #1 Kazma defeats Al Tadhamon - Feb 4, 2017

D1 top team - Kazma (9-1) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Al Tadhamon (2-8) in Kuwait City 80-40. Kazma have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record. Al Tadhamon lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with eight games lost.
The game in Abu Halifa was also worth to mention about. Seventh ranked Al Yarmook (4-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Al Sahel (2-7). Al Yarmook defeated Al Sahel 74-62. Al Yarmook have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 4-5 record. Al Sahel at the other side keeps the eighth place with seven games lost. Al Yarmook will play against higher ranked Al Jahraa (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Al Sahel will play against Al Nasar (#6) in An Nasr and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 12 Al Shabab lost to Al Arabi on the opponent's court 84-96.

Al Arabi - Al Shabab 96-84

Very expected game in Kuwait City where 10th ranked Al Shabab (1-9) was defeated by fourth ranked Al Arabi (7-3) 96-84. Al Arabi maintains fourth position with 7-3 record. Al Shabab lost eighth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with nine games lost.

Kuwait SC win 2016-2017 League title - 28 days ago
The Kuwait SC on Wednesday won its 9th title of the Kuwaiti Basketball League, 2016-2017, beating Kazma SC 81-61. The Kuwait players offered strong performance and realized a well-deserved win, raising the team's points to 19, and seized awarded the title of the 54th edition of the league. Eighth-ranked Al Sahel (2-8) gave a tough game to sixth ranked Al Nasar (6-4) in An Nasr on Monday. Al Nasar managed to secure only two-point victory 68-66. However their fans expected easier game.
