D1 Round 3: Al Arabi lose to Al Jahraa - Dec 26, 2016

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Arabi (1-1) in Kuwait City on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Al Jahraa (2-0) 70-60. Al Jahraa is looking forward to face Al Kuwait in Kuwait City in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Al Arabi's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kuwait City to the arena Kazma.
The game in An Nasr supposed to be also worth to mention about. Kazma (2-0) played at the court of Al Nasar (0-2). Kazma smashed Al Nasar 86-64. Kazma's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kuwait City Al Arabi.

In the last two games of round 3 winless Al Sahel lost to Al Sulaibikhat on the opponent's court 61-66. Winless Al Tadhamon unfortunately lost to Al Yarmook in a home game 60-68.

Al Sulaibikhat - Al Sahel 66-61

Rather expected game when Al Sahel (0-3) was defeated on the road by Al Sulaibikhat (1-1) 66-61. Al Sulaibikhat will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Sahel will play on the road against Al Shabab (#5) in Al Ahmadi and hopes to get finally their first victory.

There was a small surprise in Al Farwaniya where Al Yarmook (1-2) defeated Al Tadhamon (0-2) 68-60. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Kuwait SC win 2016-2017 League title - 2 months ago
The Kuwait SC on Wednesday won its 9th title of the Kuwaiti Basketball League, 2016-2017, beating Kazma SC 81-61. The Kuwait players offered strong performance and realized a well-deserved win, raising the team's points to 19, and seized awarded the title of the 54th edition of the league. D1 Round 13: Al Nasar defeat Al Sahel in the closest game of the week - 4 months ago
Eighth-ranked Al Sahel (2-8) gave a tough game to sixth ranked Al Nasar (6-4) in An Nasr on Monday. Al Nasar managed to secure only two-point victory 68-66. However their fans expected easier game.
