D1 Round 2: Al Nasar is defeated by Al Jahraa - Dec 23, 2016

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in D1.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Nasar (0-1) on the court of Al Jahraa on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by Al Jahraa 62-59. Al Jahraa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Nasar will play on the road against Al Arabi (#3) in Kuwait City and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
The game in Abu Halifa supposed to be also worth to mention about. Al Kuwait (2-0) played at the court of Al Sahel (0-2). Al Kuwait smashed Al Sahel 88-52. Al Kuwait will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Sahel will play on the road against Al Sulaibikhat (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 2 Al Shabab won against Al Sulaibikhat on the opponent's court 60-55. Winless Al Yarmook lost to defending champion Al Qadsia in a home game 79-94.

Al Sulaibikhat will play at home against Al Sahel (#10) to get more than just one victory in their record.

Very predictable result in Yarmouk where Al Qadsia (2-0) defeated Al Yarmook (0-2) 94-79. Al Qadsia will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Yarmook will play on the road against Al Tadhamon (#9) in Al Farwaniya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Kuwait SC win 2016-2017 League title - 4 months ago
The Kuwait SC on Wednesday won its 9th title of the Kuwaiti Basketball League, 2016-2017, beating Kazma SC 81-61. The Kuwait players offered strong performance and realized a well-deserved win, raising the team's points to 19, and seized awarded the title of the 54th edition of the league. D1 Round 13: Al Nasar defeat Al Sahel in the closest game of the week - 6 months ago
Eighth-ranked Al Sahel (2-8) gave a tough game to sixth ranked Al Nasar (6-4) in An Nasr on Monday. Al Nasar managed to secure only two-point victory 68-66. However their fans expected easier game.
