D1 Round 1: Al Yarmook loses to Kazma - Dec 19, 2016

The Regular Season in D1 just started. Host teams show no mercy winning all games.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Yarmook (0-1) in Kuwait City on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by Kazma (1-0) 88-64. Kazma will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Yarmook will play at home against Al Qadsia (#3) and is hoping to win this game.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Kuwait City. Local Al Kuwait (1-0) outscored Al Shabab (0-1) 92-59. Al Kuwait's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kuwait City to the arena Al Qadsia.

In the last two games of round 1 winless Al Sahel lost to undefeated Al Arabi in Kuwait City 57-68. Al Qadsia beat Al Tadhamon at home 78-62.

Kuwait SC win 2016-2017 League title - 6 months ago
The Kuwait SC on Wednesday won its 9th title of the Kuwaiti Basketball League, 2016-2017, beating Kazma SC 81-61. The Kuwait players offered strong performance and realized a well-deserved win, raising the team's points to 19, and seized awarded the title of the 54th edition of the league. D1 Round 13: Al Nasar defeat Al Sahel in the closest game of the week - 8 months ago
Eighth-ranked Al Sahel (2-8) gave a tough game to sixth ranked Al Nasar (6-4) in An Nasr on Monday. Al Nasar managed to secure only two-point victory 68-66. However their fans expected easier game. Al Nasar have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Al Qadsia.
