D1 Round 36: No surprise as #1 Al Qadsia defeats Al Nasar - Apr 5, 2016

D1 top team - Al Qadsia (24-0) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked Al Nasar (12-14) in An Nasr 86-78. Undefeated Al Qadsia have an impressive 23-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 24-0 record. Al Nasar at the other side keeps the sixth place with 14 games lost.
Bottom-ranked Al Sulaibikhat (0-24) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 24th consecutive match to third ranked Kazma (21-5) 89-46. Kazma maintains third position with 21-5 record having just one point less than leader Al Qadsia. Al Sulaibikhat at the other side still closes the standings.

In the last two games of round 36 Al Arabi destroyed Al Tadhamon on the opponent's court 51-31. Al Sahel managed to outperform Al Yarmook in a home game 80-69.

Al Tadhamon - Al Arabi 31-51

Very expected game in Al Farwaniya where 10th ranked Al Tadhamon (2-24) was crushed by fifth ranked Al Arabi (17-11) 51-31. Al Arabi moved-up to fourth place. Al Tadhamon lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 24 games lost.

Kuwait SC win 2016-2017 League title - 6 months ago
The Kuwait SC on Wednesday won its 9th title of the Kuwaiti Basketball League, 2016-2017, beating Kazma SC 81-61. The Kuwait players offered strong performance and realized a well-deserved win, raising the team's points to 19, and seized awarded the title of the 54th edition of the league.
