D1 Round 32: Al Nasar beats Al Sahel by three after a very close game - Mar 25, 2016

The most exciting game of round 32 in the D1 took place in Abu Halifa. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 7th ranked Al Sahel (11-15) to sixth ranked Al Nasar (12-12) 68-65 in the game for the sixth place. Al Nasar maintains sixth position with 12-12 record. Al Sahel at the other side keeps the seventh place with 15 games lost.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kuwait City: Al Qadsia (#2) and Al Arabi (#4). Al Qadsia (20-0) smashed visiting Al Arabi (15-10) by 20 points 87-67. Undefeated Al Qadsia have an impressive 19-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-0 record behind leader Al Kuwait. Al Arabi at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. Al Qadsia's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kuwait City Al Kuwait.
Bottom-ranked Al Sulaibikhat is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 22th consecutive match to ninth ranked Al Shabab (7-18) 77-69 on Wednesday evening. Al Shabab maintains ninth position with 7-18 record. Loser Al Sulaibikhat still closes the standings.

In the last game of round 32 Al Tadhamon was beaten by Al Yarmook on the road 59-43.

Al Yarmook - Al Tadhamon 59-43

No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Al Yarmook (8-15) beat 10th ranked Al Tadhamon (2-22) in Yarmouk 59-43 on Wednesday. Al Yarmook have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain eighth position with 8-15 record. Al Tadhamon lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 22 games lost.

Al Shabab - Al Sulaibikhat 77-69

Eighth-ranked Al Sahel (2-8) gave a tough game to sixth ranked Al Nasar (6-4) in An Nasr on Monday. Al Nasar managed to secure only two-point victory 68-66. However their fans expected easier game. D1 top team - Kazma (9-1) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Al Tadhamon (2-8) in Kuwait City 80-40. Kazma have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record. Al Tadhamon lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with eight games lost. The game in Abu Halifa was also worth to mention about. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Kazma as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Kazma smashed 4th placed Al Qadsia in Kuwait City 94-62. Kazma have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position.
