Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Al Kuwait as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Al Kuwait smashed 7th ranked Al Sahel in Kuwait City 76-40. Al Kuwait have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Al Sahel at the other side keeps the seventh place with 14 games lost.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kuwait City: Kazma (#3) and Al Arabi (#4). Kazma (18-4) won against visiting Al Arabi (14-9) 93-86. Kazma have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 18-4 record having just one point less than leader Al Kuwait. Al Arabi at the other side keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Al Jahraa.
Bottom-ranked Al Sulaibikhat (0-21) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 76-60 loss to sixth ranked Al Nasar (11-11) in An Nasr on Wednesday evening. Al Nasar maintains sixth position with 11-11 record. Loser Al Sulaibikhat still closes the standings.

D1 top team - Kazma (9-1) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Al Tadhamon (2-8) in Kuwait City 80-40. Kazma have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record. Al Tadhamon lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with eight games lost. The game in Abu Halifa was also worth to mention about.
