D1 Round 17: Kazma beats Al Nasar by two after a very close game - Jan 30, 2016

Sixth-ranked Al Nasar (6-7) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Kazma (11-2) in An Nasr on Wednesday. The visitors from Kuwait City managed to secure only two-point victory 79-77. However their fans expected much easier game. Kazma have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 11-2 record behind leader Al Kuwait. Al Nasar at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost.
Very important is a home loss of third ranked Al Arabi (9-5) against fifth ranked Al Jahraa (9-4) on Wednesday night. Host Al Arabi was defeated by Al Jahraa in a tough game in Kuwait City 82-87. Al Jahraa have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Al Arabi at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost.
D1 top team - Al Kuwait (12-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Al Shabab (4-10) in Kuwait City 76-56. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Al Kuwait. Defending champion maintains first place with 12-0 record. Loser Al Shabab keeps the eighth position with ten games lost.

In the last game of round 17 Al Tadhamon was beaten by Al Sahel on the road 67-50.

Al Arabi - Al Jahraa 82-87
