D1 Round 10: Al Kuwait hands first defeat to Kazma - Jan 4, 2016

Host teams show no mercy winning all games.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Kazma (7-1) in Kuwait City on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Al Kuwait (8-0) 89-81. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Kazma. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Undefeated Al Kuwait have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 8-0 record. Kazma at the other side keeps the second place with one game lost.
Bottom-ranked Al Sulaibikhat (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 80-54 loss to sixth ranked Al Sahel (5-4) in Abu Halifa. Al Sahel have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Al Nasar. Al Sulaibikhat at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost.

In the last two games of round 10 Al Yarmook was crushed by Al Nasar in An Nasr 82-61. Al Arabi smashed Al Shabab at home 66-44.

Al Nasar - Al Yarmook 82-61

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked Al Yarmook's (2-6) road loss to seventh ranked Al Nasar (5-4) 61-82. Al Nasar have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Al Sahel. Al Yarmook lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with six games lost.

Al Arabi - Al Shabab 66-44

No shocking result in a game in Kuwait City where fourth ranked Al Arabi (6-3) smashed 9th ranked Al Shabab (1-8) 66-44. Al Arabi have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Al Shabab at the other side dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost.

D1 top team - Kazma (9-1) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Al Tadhamon (2-8) in Kuwait City 80-40. Kazma have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record. Al Tadhamon lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with eight games lost. The game in Abu Halifa was also worth to mention about. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Kazma as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Kazma smashed 4th placed Al Qadsia in Kuwait City 94-62. Kazma have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position.
