The game in Sulaibikhat supposed to be quite interesting. Third ranked Al Qadsia (15-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Al Sulaibikhat (6-11). Al Qadsia smashed Al Sulaibikhat 98-75 on Sunday. Al Qadsia have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 15-2 record behind leader Al Sahel. Al Sulaibikhat at the other side dropped to the eighth place with 11 games lost.
12th ranked Al Shabab (2-15) was outscored at home by sixth ranked Al Jahraa (10-8) with the biggest margin this round 86-52. Al Jahraa moved-up to fifth place. Al Shabab lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with 15 games lost. They share it with Al Tadhamon.

In the last two games of round 28 Al Yarmook destroyed Al Tadhamon on the opponent's court 79-55. Al Salmiyah was outscored by Al Sahel in a home game 40-70.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Al Tadhamon's (2-15) home loss to ninth ranked Al Yarmook (7-11) 55-79. Al Yarmook moved-up to seventh place. Al Tadhamon lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with 15 games lost. They share it with Al Shabab.

Kuwait SC win 2016-2017 League title - 7 months ago
The Kuwait SC on Wednesday won its 9th title of the Kuwaiti Basketball League, 2016-2017, beating Kazma SC 81-61. The Kuwait players offered strong performance and realized a well-deserved win, raising the team's points to 19, and seized awarded the title of the 54th edition of the league. Eighth-ranked Al Sahel (2-8) gave a tough game to sixth ranked Al Nasar (6-4) in An Nasr on Monday. Al Nasar managed to secure only two-point victory 68-66. However their fans expected easier game.
