D1 Round 25: Easy game for Kazma which smashes Al Tadhamon by 51 points - Jan 14, 2013

Second ranked Kazma (13-2) crushed at home 10th ranked Al Tadhamon (2-11) by 51 points 105-54, which is the biggest margin this round on Friday night. Kazma have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Al Kuwait. Al Tadhamon at the other side keeps the tenth place with 11 games lost. Kazma will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Tadhamon will play on the road against Al Yarmook (#9) in Yarmouk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 25 Al Jahraa lost to Al Qadsia on the opponent's court 72-78. Al Sahel outscored Al Salmiyah in a home game 81-55.


Al Qadsia - Al Jahraa 78-72

Rather expected game in Kuwait City where 6th ranked Al Jahraa (6-7) was defeated by fourth ranked Al Qadsia (11-2) 78-72 on Friday. Al Qadsia maintains fourth place with 11-2 record. Al Jahraa at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Al Qadsia are looking forward to face Al Nasar (#7) in An Nasr in the next round. Al Jahraa will have a break next round.

Very predictable result in Abu Halifa where third ranked Al Sahel (12-2) smashed 11th ranked Al Salmiyah (2-13) 81-55 on Friday. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Al Sahel. They maintain third place with 12-2 record behind leader Al Kuwait. Al Salmiyah lost their ninth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Al Shabab. Al Sahel are looking forward to face Al Arabi (#5) in Kuwait City in the next round. Al Salmiyah will have a break next round.

Kazma wins Kuwaiti Federation Basketball Cup 2016 - 1 month ago

Kazma won Kuwaiti Federation Basketball Cup 2016 to lift up the trophy in the county. In the Final game they overcame AlQadsia 67:61. Kazma started the game with a 19-13 lead and had 5 points advantage at the halftime. Kazma reached 56:48 lead with 10 minutes to go and managed to keep a 6-point victory. In the Semifinals Kazma beat AlKuwait SC 76:74, while AlQadsia outscored AlSahel 105:86.   [read more]
Qadsia crowned 2015/16 Champions! - 2 months ago

Qadsia became the champions of Kuwait Basketball League 2015/2016 before playing the last round. They won all 29 games in the Regular Season. In their last game Qadsia overcame Kazma 81:70. In another games AlKuwait SC beat AlJahra 68:49 and Yarmouk edged AlSulaibikhat 50:30. AlKuwait SC is second with a 27-2 record.   [read more]

D1 top team - Al Qadsia (26-0) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat eighth ranked Al Yarmook (8-19) in Yarmouk 83-69. Undefeated Al Qadsia have an impressive 25-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 26-0 record. Al Yarmook lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 19 games lost.
