D1 top team - Al Kuwait (13-1) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Al Nasar (5-7) in Kuwait City 84-57. Al Kuwait have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-1 record. Al Nasar at the other side keeps the seventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with Al Sulaibikhat.
10th ranked Al Salmiyah (2-11) was outscored at home by fifth ranked Al Arabi (7-5) with the biggest margin this round 79-35. Al Arabi maintains fifth position with 7-5 record. Al Salmiyah lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 11 games lost. Al Arabi will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Salmiyah will play on the road against Al Sahel (#4) in Abu Halifa and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last game of round 22 Al Sulaibikhat was destroyed by Al Qadsia on the opponent's court 92-69.

Al Qadsia - Al Sulaibikhat 92-69

Very expected game in Kuwait City where 8th ranked Al Sulaibikhat (5-7) was crushed by fourth ranked Al Qadsia (10-1) 92-69. Al Qadsia moved-up to second place. Al Sulaibikhat lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Al Nasar. Al Qadsia will play against Al Jahraa (#6) at home in the next round. Al Sulaibikhat will have a break next round.

D1 Round 7: Al Arabi beats Al Yarmook by two after a very close game - 7 days ago
Coincidentally all visitors won their games. The most exciting game of round 7 in the D1 took place in Yarmouk. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 8th ranked Al Yarmook (1-4) to fifth ranked Al Arabi (4-2) 72-70 on Thursday evening.
