Egypt won Group E of the Second Stage in Doha at the Pan Arab Games. The team needed 76:63 to take the first spot and advanced to the Semifinals. Egypt took the lead at the very beginning and reached 22-9 after the first period. Kuwait however replied with 18-10 to trail 5 points at the halftime. The third quarter was decisive as Egypt produced 32-19 to seal the victory. Amr El Gandy stepped up with 16 points and Ibrahim ElGamal (188-G-88) netted 9. Moamen AbdouElLanin (199-F-86) and Haytham Kamal (207-C/F-87) delivered 8 points apiece. Abdulaziz Mohammad (186-G/F-87) replied with 26 points in the losing effort and Nayef AlRashidi (185-SF-89) scored 12. Rashed AlRabah (189-G/F-87) and Abdullah AlShammari (201-F-89) notched 8 points each in defeat. Tomorrow Egypt will face Qatar in the Semifinal game. In another one Jordan will take on Tunisia.

Kazma finished fourth at GCC Clubs basketball Cup. The team from Kuwait advanced to the Semifinals but lost the game to Ah-Ahli and then to Al Rayyan in the game for the third place.
At first Al Sadd overcame Kazma 73:55 in the opener. In Day 2 Kazma beat Ahli Sadab from Oman 90:66. In Day 3 the team from Kuwait overcame Uhud from Saudi Arabia 82:72 and finished second in Group A.
