An interesting game for Barsy Atyrau (6-10) which hosted in Atyrau one of their biggest challengers Kaspiy Aktau (2-14). Second ranked Barsy Atyrau had an easy win 95-67. Barsy Atyrau looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was a good game for American point guard Trevin Parks (180-91, college: Johnson C. Smith) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 8 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The other American import guard Ryan Cook (191-90, college: UMBC, agency: HMS) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Denis Degtyarev (200-90) replied with 18 points for Kaspiy Aktau. Kaspiy Aktau's coach Mikhail Karpenko gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains second position with 6-10 record having ten points less than leader Astana. Kaspiy Aktau at the other side stay at the bottom place with 14 games lost.

Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Sean Hill (188-92, college: Chicago St.) who helped to win the game recording 40 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Azim Yagodkin who added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Kaspiy Aktau's coach Mikhail Karpenko allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was international forward Pavel Micheev (201-83) with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Kaspiy Aktau maintains third position with 2-14 record having fourteen points less than leader Astana. Barsy Atyrau lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the second place with ten games lost.

Kazakhstan have won the Victory Cup with 6 participating teams in Kyrgyzstan. In one of the key games they overcame Kyrgyzstan 76-67.
