He had the game-high 29 points adding four rebounds and five assists for Barsy Atyrau in his team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Kaspiy Aktau (#3, 0-8) with 18-point margin 80-62. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Barsy Atyrau maintains the 2nd position in Kazakhstan league. Barsy Atyrau is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-4 record. Parks turned to be Barsy Atyrau's top player in his first season with the team. Johnson C. Smith University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Almatisnky Legion earned the Higher League title. They swept the championship series versus Kazygurt. Almatinsky Legion clinched an 84:72 victory in Game 2 to be crowned champions. Vyacheslav Raguyev (195-F-93) posted 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the winners. Legion grabbed a 26:17 lead after the first period. However Kazygurt denied the deficit and tied things up at 36 heading into the second half. But Almatinsky Legion unloaded 46 points after the big break and raced to the victory. [read more]
