Premier League Round 3: Al Riyadi defeats Al Jalil - Dec 28, 2016

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Jalil (2-1) at the home court on Tuesday night. Hosts were rolled over by Al Riyadi (3-0) 73-45. Al Riyadi is looking forward to face Kofer Yoba (#5) in Irbid in the next round. Al Jalil will play against Al Awdah and is hoping to win this game.
Another interesting game for Kofer Yoba (1-2) which played on the court of Deer Abi Sa'ed (0-3). Kofer Yoba had an easy win 76-61. Kofer Yoba will play against Al Riyadi in Amman in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Deer Abi Sa'ed will play against Al Horiyah (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Al Awdah (3-0) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed Anjarah (0-3) 88-60. Al Awdah will meet Al Jalil (#4) in the next round. Anjarah will play against Orthodox and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
The game between Orthodox (3-0) and Al Horiyah (0-3) in Amman ended with biggest points difference. Orthodox outscored guests from 78-29. Orthodox's next round opponent will be Anjarah (#7) which should be theoretically another easy game. Al Horiyah will play against Deer Abi Sa'ed and looks forward to get finally their first victory.

Al Ahli celebrate League 2017/2018 title - 14 days ago
Al Ahli celebrated Jordan Basketball League 2017/2018 title. In the Final stage they beat kafr yoba 82-80 in the last game. Being tied at 62:62 both teams stayed within 1-2 points at the end of the game as Al Ahli grabbed the valuable win. Later Al Riyadi Aramex beat Jazira 82-75 and Orthodox edged Star Jordan 93-82. WABA Champions Cup 2018 relocated to Jordan from Iraq - 3 months ago
West Asian Basketball Association (WABA) officials have announced that the WABA Champions Cup 2018 will be relocated to Jordan from Iraq - with the tournament dates remaining March 12-16. The WABA decided to change the hosting country of the 18th edition of the Champions Cup due to security concerns of the players in Baghdad.
