Star Jordan win 1st Division title - Dec 16, 2016

Star Jordan won Jordan League 1st Division with nine participating teams. The team dominated the League and showed their ambitions for the top places in the Final Stage. At first they overcame Al-Ashrafiyah 75-56, while Gaza Hashem outscored Kofer Rakeb 80-53. Later Star Jordan won over Kofer Rakeb 74-46 controlling the entire game. In the last game they beat Gaza Hashem 76-46 to triumph in the League.  


Al Ahli celebrate League 2017/2018 title - 20 days ago
Al Ahli celebrated Jordan Basketball League 2017/2018 title. In the Final stage they beat kafr yoba 82-80 in the last game. Being tied at 62:62 both teams stayed within 1-2 points at the end of the game as Al Ahli grabbed the valuable win. Later Al Riyadi Aramex beat Jazira 82-75 and Orthodox edged Star Jordan 93-82. Al Wihdat overcame AL Jubaiha 102-80.   [read more]

WABA Champions Cup 2018 relocated to Jordan from Iraq - 3 months ago
West Asian Basketball Association (WABA) officials have announced that the WABA Champions Cup 2018 will be relocated to Jordan from Iraq - with the tournament dates remaining March 12-16. The WABA decided to change the hosting country of the 18th edition of the Champions Cup due to security concerns of the players in Baghdad.
