Tyray Petty
Newly promoted Al Nahda Al Khobar (SBL) inked 28-year old American guard Tyray Petty (192-95kg-88, college: Utah Valley). He played in the summer at Orthodox in WABA competition.
Among other achievements he won Bolivian Libobasquet Clausura championship title in 2015. Petty received also Eurobasket.com Cyprus North League All-Final Four 1st Team award in 2014.
He is a very experienced player. Petty has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Petty has played previously professionally in Colombia (Marinos de Bolivar), Bolivia (Cochabamba and Univ. San Simon), Cyprus (Near East University), PBL (Sauk Valley P.) and ABL (Corpus Christi).
He attended Utah Valley University until 2012 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
Petty's game is described as: Lights Out pure shooter. A mix of technical and athletic skills which make him almost unstoppable; he developed a great touch from behind the 3pts arch, without losing his ability to score inside.
