Al Muharraq Bahraini club signed with with 61 years old Serbian coach Rajko Toroman to be the head coach of senior team for rest of season, Rajko is the third coach for Al Muharraq this season
Muharraq started the season with Spanish coach Josep Claros and they had good first half of season after the team reached the final 4 of league and cup, but Pep parted away with the team after he refused club management decision in changing the foreigner of team Tyrone Watson who was one of best scorers and rebounders in the league. Then the club signed with Dominican/American coach Derek Baker who only coached the team in 2 games in the cup and lose the both games against Ahli and Hala.
Rajko Toroman "the 2nd Serbian coach in Bahraini league this season after coach Dejan Mijatovic the current head coach of Ahli" arrived to the kingdom few days ago and started the preparation for final 4 of the league which suppose to start at early of March, last year he was head coach of Jordan National Team and got the 9th position in Fiba Asia 2015, he coached Philippines and Iran National teams before plus few clubs in Serbia, Greece, Poland, Belgium, Cyprus, Hungary and Philippines.

WABA Champions Cup 2018 relocated to Jordan from Iraq - 1 month ago
West Asian Basketball Association (WABA) officials have announced that the WABA Champions Cup 2018 will be relocated to Jordan from Iraq - with the tournament dates remaining March 12-16. The WABA decided to change the hosting country of the 18th edition of the Champions Cup due to security concerns of the players in Baghdad. Dinamica Mantova (Serie A2) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old Jordanian ex-international guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU, agency: Octagon Europe) from Fortituto Kontatto Bologna. In 17 Serie A2 games in Italy he recorded 12.7ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.2apg this season. The last season he played at Met.Extra Viola Basket Reggio Calabria (Serie A) where in 18 games he averaged impressive 20.0ppg, 4.9rpg, 2.8apg and 1.7spg.
