Orthodox adds Petty to their roster, ex Univ. San Simon - Feb 9, 2016

Tyray Petty
Orthodox Amman (Premier League) added to their roster 28-year old American guard Tyray Petty (192-95kg-87, college: Utah Valley). He played last summer at Univ. San Simon in Bolivian Libobasquet. In 17 games he recorded very impressive stats: 22.6ppg, 4.6rpg and 3.2apg. He helped them to win the league title. Petty also played at Marinos de Bolivar (Liga DirecTV) in Colombian league that season. In four games he averaged 5.0ppg, 3.3rpg and 1.5apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Eurobasket.com Cyprus North League All-Final Four 1st Team in 2014.
Petty is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Cyprus (Near East University), PBL (Sauk Valley P.), IBA (Kenosha Ballers) and ABL (Corpus Christi).
Petty attended Utah Valley University until 2012 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.

Al Ahli celebrate League 2017/2018 title - 14 days ago
Al Ahli celebrated Jordan Basketball League 2017/2018 title. In the Final stage they beat kafr yoba 82-80 in the last game. Being tied at 62:62 both teams stayed within 1-2 points at the end of the game as Al Ahli grabbed the valuable win. Later Al Riyadi Aramex beat Jazira 82-75 and Orthodox edged Star Jordan 93-82. WABA Champions Cup 2018 relocated to Jordan from Iraq - 3 months ago
West Asian Basketball Association (WABA) officials have announced that the WABA Champions Cup 2018 will be relocated to Jordan from Iraq - with the tournament dates remaining March 12-16. The WABA decided to change the hosting country of the 18th edition of the Champions Cup due to security concerns of the players in Baghdad.
