Alex Legion (ex Al Jaysh) signs at Arkadikos - Jan 26, 2016

Alex Legion
SEFA Arkadikos (A1) landed 28-year old Jordanian ex-international guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU). He has a double citizenship as he also holds American passport. Legion started the season at Al Jaysh in Qatari D1 league. In 8 games he averaged impressive 21.5ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.5apg and 1.5spg this season. The most of last season he spent at Lighthouse Conad Trapani (Serie A2) in Italian league. In 19 games he was the best scorer with remarkable 21.9ppg and recorded 5.7rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg. Legion also played at CZG Veroli (A2 Gold) in Italian league earlier that season. In 9 games he was the best scorer with high stats: 20.9ppg and averaged 5.8rpg, 2.1apg and 1.9spg.
He ended the previous (13-14) season at Sagesse (Pepsi LBL) in Lebanese league. In only one game he had high stats: 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 2013-14 season. But the most of that year Legion spent at Mec-Energy Roseto (Serie A2) in Italian league. In 30 games he was the best scorer with high stats: 23.3ppg and averaged 9.6rpg (#5 in the league), 1.3apg and 1.0spg in 2013-14 season.
The previous (12-13) season he played at PVSK Pannon (A Division) in Hungarian league. In 20 games he was third best scorer with high stats: 19.5ppg and averaged 5.7rpg, 1.2apg and 1.5spg in 2012-13 season. He helped them to make it to the Hungarian Cup Semifinals.
Among other achievements Legion's team made it to the Arab Club Championships Semifinals in 2015. He received also Eurobasket.com Italian LNP Gold All-Imports Team award in 2015. Legion represented Jordan at the Arab Club Championships Semifinals last year. His stats at that event were 8 games: 17.3ppg, 4.9rpg, 2.0apg, 1.9spg, FGP: 38.0%, 3PT: 41.9%, FT: 85.7%.
Legion is a very experienced player.
He graduated from Florida International University in 2012 and it is his fourth season in pro basketball.
Legion's game is described as: Alex is an outstanding shooter who can also create his own shot off the dribble. He uses his strength to create space against defenders and is great 3 point shooter. He has played for top college coaches including Isiah Thomas this year. Alex is a scoring machine and very good all around player who is ready to compete at the highest level.

Al Ahli celebrate League 2017/2018 title - 14 days ago
Al Ahli celebrated Jordan Basketball League 2017/2018 title. In the Final stage they beat kafr yoba 82-80 in the last game. Being tied at 62:62 both teams stayed within 1-2 points at the end of the game as Al Ahli grabbed the valuable win. Later Al Riyadi Aramex beat Jazira 82-75 and Orthodox edged Star Jordan 93-82. WABA Champions Cup 2018 relocated to Jordan from Iraq - 3 months ago
West Asian Basketball Association (WABA) officials have announced that the WABA Champions Cup 2018 will be relocated to Jordan from Iraq - with the tournament dates remaining March 12-16. The WABA decided to change the hosting country of the 18th edition of the Champions Cup due to security concerns of the players in Baghdad.
