Premier League Round 2: Al Awdah loses to Al Horiyah - Jan 11, 2016

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Al Awdah (1-1) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by Al Horiyah (2-0) 74-70. Al Horiyah is looking forward to face Ghazat Hash. (#6) in Irbid in the next round where they are favorite. Al Awdah will play on the road against Orthodox in Amman and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very significant was Orthodox's (#8) 30-point road victory against Kofer Yoba 80-50. Orthodox will play against Al Awdah (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Kofer Yoba will play against Nashama (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Al Riyadi (2-0) crushed at home Nashama (0-2) by 70 points 106-36, which is the biggest margin this round on Friday night. Al Riyadi will meet Al Jalil (#4) in the next round. Nashama will play against Kofer Yoba (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 2 Al Jalil won against Ghazat Hash. on the opponent's court 50-38.

Al Riyadi - Nashama 106-36

Al Riyadi (2-0) crushed at home Nashama (0-2) by 70 points 106-36, which is the biggest margin this round on Friday night. The game without a history. Al Riyadi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Nashama to just 6 points in second quarter. Al Riyadi will meet Al Jalil (#4) in the next round. Nashama will play against Kofer Yoba (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Al Jalil will meet at home Al Riyadi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ghazat Hash. will play against Al Horiyah and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Al Ahli celebrate League 2017/2018 title - 14 days ago
Al Ahli celebrated Jordan Basketball League 2017/2018 title. In the Final stage they beat kafr yoba 82-80 in the last game. Being tied at 62:62 both teams stayed within 1-2 points at the end of the game as Al Ahli grabbed the valuable win. Later Al Riyadi Aramex beat Jazira 82-75 and Orthodox edged Star Jordan 93-82. WABA Champions Cup 2018 relocated to Jordan from Iraq - 3 months ago
West Asian Basketball Association (WABA) officials have announced that the WABA Champions Cup 2018 will be relocated to Jordan from Iraq - with the tournament dates remaining March 12-16. The WABA decided to change the hosting country of the 18th edition of the Champions Cup due to security concerns of the players in Baghdad.
