Al Riyadi Amman (Premier League) signed 25-year old Palestinian ex-international center Sani Sakakini (204-100kg-88). Its actually his comeback to Al Riyadi Amman as he played here before. Sakakini played last season at Qingdao Double Star Eagles in Chinese CBA league, which is considered top league in Asia. In 31 games last year he had 10.5ppg, 8.2rpg, 1.3apg and 1.0spg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as his team made it to the Jordanian Cup final in 2009 and 2011. Sakakini was also voted Asia-Basket.com All-Jordanian League 1st Team back in 2010. He represented Palestine at the WABA Club Championships two years ago.
