Jordan - Taiwan B 85:71

Jordan earned the second victory at William Jones Cup. They overcame Taiwan B National Team for 2-5 record. Taiwan B slipped at 0-8 record after the defeat.
Jordan jumped in front early in the game. They earned a 21:16 lead after ten minutes. Taiwan B denied the deficit in the second quarter. They established a 37:35 halftime lead. Jordan however erupted for 30 points in the third frame and secured a 10-point lead before the fourth frame. Jordan kept the hosts at bay throughout the final stanza and rolled to the victory at the end. Rasheim Wright (192-G-81, college: District of Col.) provided 34 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists for the winners. Wesam Al-Sous (183-PG-83) added 22 points and 7 assists for the winning side. Yi-Hsiang Chou (193-F-91) accounted for 24 points and 7 rebounds for Taiwan. Chen Kuan-Chuan (195-F-93) had 12 points in the loss.

Al Ahli celebrate League 2017/2018 title - 17 days ago
Al Ahli celebrated Jordan Basketball League 2017/2018 title. In the Final stage they beat kafr yoba 82-80 in the last game. Being tied at 62:62 both teams stayed within 1-2 points at the end of the game as Al Ahli grabbed the valuable win. Later Al Riyadi Aramex beat Jazira 82-75 and Orthodox edged Star Jordan 93-82. Al Wihdat overcame AL Jubaiha 102-80.   [read more]

WABA Champions Cup 2018 relocated to Jordan from Iraq - 3 months ago
West Asian Basketball Association (WABA) officials have announced that the WABA Champions Cup 2018 will be relocated to Jordan from Iraq - with the tournament dates remaining March 12-16. The WABA decided to change the hosting country of the 18th edition of the Champions Cup due to security concerns of the players in Baghdad.
