USA celebrated the fifth win at William Jones Cup. They knocked down Jordan for 5-1 record. Curtis Marshall (6'6''-G/F-83, agency: R.H.Consultancy, college: Texas Tech) delivered 16 points to pace the winners. Jordan fell at 1-5 record after the loss.
USA had a tiny 21:19 lead ten minutes into the game. But they shifted the gear in the second quarter. The North American team went on a 25:12 rally to leave Jordan behind. USA ensured a 46:31 halftime advantage. USA and Jordan traded baskets throughout the third term. The North Americans entered the final frame up by 15 points. Jordan cut the distance but could not seriously threaten the deficit at the end. James Justice (5'10''-PG-89, college: Martin Methodist) had 12 points, while Wayne Arnold (6'4''-G-84, agency: Top Notch Sports, college: Tennessee St.) had 11 points for the winners. Rasheim Wright (6'4''-G-81, college: District of Col.) answered with game-high 18 points for Jordan. Mahmoud Abdeen (6'3''-PG-87) produced 9 points in the loss.

WABA Champions Cup 2018 relocated to Jordan from Iraq - 18 days ago
West Asian Basketball Association (WABA) officials have announced that the WABA Champions Cup 2018 will be relocated to Jordan from Iraq - with the tournament dates remaining March 12-16. The WABA decided to change the hosting country of the 18th edition of the Champions Cup due to security concerns of the players in Baghdad. Dinamica Mantova (Serie A2) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old Jordanian ex-international guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU, agency: Octagon Europe) from Fortituto Kontatto Bologna.
