Anyang KGC improved to 3-2 record at the 2012 William Jones Cup. The South Korean team overcame Jordan 105:84 in Day 6 of the tournament. Jordan meanwhile fell at 1-4 record.
Both teams scored 24 points each in the first period and only then Anyang KGC took the control of the game. They produced 27-19 in the second frame and grabbed 8-point lead at the halftime. Moreover South Korean team added 30-23 in the third period and enjoyed 81:66 lead after three quarters. Anyang KGC won also the last stanza 24-18 and celebrated a 21-point victory.
Pattillo Juan (197-F-88, college: W.Kentucky) top-scored for the winners with 24 points and 17 rebounds, while Choi Hyun-Min (196-F-90) also scored 24. Stutz Garrett (212-C-90, college: Wichita St.) and Lee Jung-Hyun (191-F-87) followed them with 12 points each in a win. Rasheim Wright (192-G-81, college: District of Col.) replied with 24 points and Ali ZAGHAB collected 20 points and 13 rebounds. Wesam AL SOUS poured in 18 and Mahmoud Abdeen (189-PG-87) delivered 8.

The Lebanese under 16 basketball national team grabbed another large win at the 2017 U16 WABA Championship, by defeating Jordan this time 78-47. Our young players have been showing off terrific potential so far by smashing the opposition in both played games. Pioneros de Los Mochis (CIBACOPA) added to their roster 28-year old American guard Garland Judkins (196-88kg-89, college: Texas A&M-CC). He just played at Orthodox in Jordanian Premier League. In 2013 (two years after he left the college) Judkins was drafted by Santa Cruz Warriors (D-League) in sixth round (100th overall).
