Anyang KGC improved to 3-2 record at the 2012 William Jones Cup. The South Korean team overcame Jordan 105:84 in Day 6 of the tournament. Jordan meanwhile fell at 1-4 record.
Both teams scored 24 points each in the first period and only then Anyang KGC took the control of the game. They produced 27-19 in the second frame and grabbed 8-point lead at the halftime. Moreover South Korean team added 30-23 in the third period and enjoyed 81:66 lead after three quarters. Anyang KGC won also the last stanza 24-18 and celebrated a 21-point victory.
Pattillo Juan (197-F-88, college: W.Kentucky) top-scored for the winners with 24 points and 17 rebounds, while Choi Hyun-Min (196-F-90) also scored 24. Stutz Garrett (212-C-90, college: Wichita St.) and Lee Jung-Hyun (191-F-87) followed them with 12 points each in a win. Rasheim Wright (192-G-81, college: District of Col.) replied with 24 points and Ali ZAGHAB collected 20 points and 13 rebounds. Wesam AL SOUS poured in 18 and Mahmoud Abdeen (189-PG-87) delivered 8.

WABA Champions Cup 2018 relocated to Jordan from Iraq - 2 months ago
West Asian Basketball Association (WABA) officials have announced that the WABA Champions Cup 2018 will be relocated to Jordan from Iraq - with the tournament dates remaining March 12-16. The WABA decided to change the hosting country of the 18th edition of the Champions Cup due to security concerns of the players in Baghdad. Dinamica Mantova (Serie A2) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old Jordanian ex-international guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU, agency: Octagon Europe) from Fortituto Kontatto Bologna. In 17 Serie A2 games in Italy he recorded 12.7ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.2apg this season.
