Cyprus registered the third straight win at Four Nations Tournament. The hosts held off Jordan to clinch the trophy. Andreas Sizopoulos (189-G-83) scored 13 points to lead the winners. Jordan suffered the third straight loss.
Cyprus led by five points after ten minutes 23:18. The teams stayed close throughout the second quarter. Cyprus registered a 40:35 halftime lead. The home team stretched the margin in the third term. They accounted for a 60:44 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Jordan went on a massive comeback rally in the final stanza but came up just short of win at the end. Anthony King (206-F/C-85, agency: Interperformances, college: Miami, FL) posted 12 points, while Christodoulos Kaskiris (206-C/F-79) had 10 points for the winners. Ali Jamal (205-C/F-88) answered with 22 points and 14 boards for Jordan. Mohammad Shaher (210-C-90) had 12 points in the loss.
