Aramex celebrated the Jordan Cup title this year. They defeated underdogs Kafer Yoba in the title clash. Aramex thus regained the trophy they celebrated in 2002. Jamal Ali Ahmed knocked down 17 points to pace Aramex. Aramex strongly entered the game. They grabbed a 13:5 lead early on. The margin slowly grew in the next quarters. Aramex enjoyed a 15-point buffer in the third term but Kafer Yoba did not surrender. They erased the gap and even pulled ahead. However Aramex used all of their experience to eventually tame their opponents and seal the victory at the end. In a Press Conference was held in Amman today, Jordanian Basketball Federation introduced the new hired Coaching Staff lead by the Greek Coach Vangelis Alexandris and his Assistant Ioannis Livanos and declared the 20 Man initial list for the National Team, which will be begin Preparations on Wednesday for FIBA Asia Championship in Manila next August, the list included both Daghles Osama (198-G-79, college: Midwestern St.) and Abbas Zaid (203-F-83) who declared their International Retirement earlier this year but seems that the Federation will discuss the Situation with them again.
Naturalized Rasheim Wright hasn't been invited since the Federation is considering to Naturalize another Player provided that the Concerned Authorities approves this step.
