JPL 09/10 Midrar League : ASU Clinches the Title - Apr 10, 2010

ASU Sports Club who won the first round of the Final Series 90-59, did again in the away game 91-75 and that forced Al Riyadi to stop their dream to schedule another game for next Monday, in the third place match Orthodox managed to repeat his victory of the units on 83-73, had won the first game, a 90-84 .

After the end of the match, Chairman of the Basketball Federation Said Shuqom coronated players of ASU Club gold medals and handed the championship trophy to the captain of ASU Islam Abbas, and club president of Applied Sciences silver medals to players of Riyadi-Aramex , and Director of Information of Midra Sport Issa Badran Orthodox bronze medals.

The playmaker of ASU Club wesam Sous awarded for best player in the tournament, Ali Jamal as the best defender, and Orthodoxi player Hani Farag Most Improved Player and Wihdat Club player Munir Dais best young player.

ASU 91-75 Riyadi-Aramex
A strong start for Riydai, as is the case in past confrontations and provides 6-0, before returning Applied to tie and progress 9-6 with the Help of Wesam Sous who presented a collection of asists to Abdulla Abu Qura, at a time Malek Khashan attacks to advance 23-19 with the end of the period.

As expected third-quarter income of Applied imposing progress to regain control of 48-40, but Khashan grade outside the group of sports and scored on all occasions responded to the texts and carpenter from beyond the arc to increase the difference between 66-54 and ending the superiority of Applied 70-54.

Loai Najjar and Nidal Al-Sherif throws breakthrough in bringing the deficit to 20 points, 85-65, and the resolution of the game before the end of 3 minutes to celebrate Applied win with the final whistle, the outcome of 91-75 and clinch the first time in its history at the top of the Jordanian basketball 2009-2010 season.

Orthodox 83-73 Wihdat
The 3rd placeGame witnessed the 2nd Win for orthodoxi Club on Wihdat to clinch the 3rd place , Wihdat showed great performance despite the absnce of their Coach and the Young players involved in this team specially Muneer Idais who shined today with 30 pts .

Sakakini Best Dunker
The Dunk Contest was Held yesterday before the Final Game, which was won by Riyadi's Star Sunny Sakakini after fierce competition with the player of ASU Ali Zoubi, where established playoff round between the two players scored Sakakini the Mos Beautiful Dunk in the competition, which awarded the perfect score of 30 points, while Shadi Fleifel won the 3pts Compettion scorng 17 points, and each with a gift from Midrar Sports Company the official sponsor of the tournament.
