Terrence
Drisdom
25-year old guard Terrence Drisdom (196-G-92) had a very impressive game in the last round for Hiroshima D. and receives a Asia-basket.com B League D2 Player of the Week award for round 20.
He had the game-high 22 points adding nine rebounds and five assists for Hiroshima D. in his team's victory, helping them to beat Shinshu BW (#5, 9-10) 80-73. Hiroshima D. maintains the 4th position in their group in Japanese B League D2. Hiroshima D. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-9 record. In the team's last game Drisdom had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Terrence Drisdom averages this season 9.5ppg and 5.5rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Ryan Stephan (208-C-94) of Gunma. He is American center in his first season at Gunma. In the last game Stephan recorded impressive double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led Gunma to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked Fukushima (#2, 12-6) 89-69. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Central. Gunma consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 9-9 record is not bad at all. Stephan is a newcomer at Gunma and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.6ppg (#3). He also registered 11.4 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Anthony McHenry (202-SF-83) of Shinshu BW (#5). McHenry showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and seven assists in the last round. Despite McHenry's great performance Shinshu BW lost 73-80 to slightly higher-ranked Hiroshima D. (#4, 10-9). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Shinshu BW ranking at the top of West, however are very questionable as they have already lost 10 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, McHenry could help Shinshu BW to bring them higher in the standings. McHenry has a very solid season. In 19 games in Japan he scored 13.8ppg. He also has 8.0rpg, 3.4apg, 1.3bpg and FGP: 50.7%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Rick Rickert (211-C/F-83) of Cyberdyne IR - 19 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists
5. Craig Williams (206-C-89) of Sendai 89ers - 22 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Kyle Barone (208-C-89) of Aomori Watts - 19 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Will Creekmore (205-C-89) of Yamagata - 18 points and 10 rebounds
8. Deon Jones (198-G-93) of Fukushima - 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Josh Hawkinson (208-F-95) of Toyotsu FE - 20 points and 5 rebounds
10. Billy McShepard (208-F-87) of Yamagata - 23 points and 8 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
